Since its establishment as a spinning company in 1923, Nitto Boseki Co Ltd or Nittobo, has expanded its operation into building materials, glass fibers, engineering, medical products and specialty chemicals.

BUILDING MATERIAL DIVISION
In 1938, Nittobo became the first industrial producer of rock wool in Japan.
In the 1960s, Nittobo started marketing a series of interior decorating materials and are now Japan's leading manufacturer of non combustible ceiling panels.
